Caroline J. Smith will be presenting to other members of the Saskatoon Construction Association for a webinar on your legal rights and responsibilities when delays and unexpected circumstances crop up on your project. This webinar will cover:
- who is financially responsible for the costs of delays;
- different ways of calculating those costs; and
- what happens when an unexpected circumstance makes it impossible to complete a project as intended.
The webinar will also include a discussion of how to read force majeure clauses in contracts and how COVID-19 might affect contractual obligations.
