Join speaker, Anna Lund, an associate professor in the Faculty of Law at the University of Alberta and current Estey Chair in Business Law at the University of Saskatchewan as she builds on American scholarship that examines how judges manage proceedings in lawyerless courts, where both litigants and unrepresented. This lecture will consider the question of how judges ensure fairness in proceedings where one party, the borrower, is commonly absent.
