Online Processes for Legal Claims: What the trend means for lawyers, judges and others in the justice system Shannon Salter is the Chair of the Civil Resolution Tribunal and an adjunct professor at the UBC Allard School of Law, teaching administrative law and legal ethics. The Civil Resolution Tribunal in British Columbia – an online system – continues to expand its mandate, expecting a yearly caseload of 30,000 files and a budget of $25 million.  Shannon Salter will outline what the online management of a file looks like and share statistics and information about how people are experiencing the new tribunal process.
