This event is free and open to the public.
Join guest speaker, Rachel Loewen Walker, Ariel F. Sallows Chair in Human Rights who will conduct a close reading of both the concept and the operations of misogyny. She will demonstrate that an old and largely misunderstood concept such as misogyny can act as a tipping point for renewed engagement with gender-based violence in contemporary legal, social, and political environments.
