Community involvement and engagement is a priority at McKercher LLP. As a firm, historically, we have been committed to supporting local, provincial and national non-profit organizations and charitable events. We look for ways to create opportunities, to build communities, and promote next generation volunteers. Supporting the communities in which we work and live is part of our prairie pride. In 2023, the McKercher LLP Community Fund was created to further provide a positive impact to our communities.

Foundations and Skills Saskatchewan supports children, adults, and families with literacy skills and knowledge. They offer volunteer tutor programs for both adults and children aimed to help improve literacy skills based on self-identified learning goals. The McKercher LLP Community Fund will help support their program 'Books for All: Promoting Literacy through Tutoring Programs', which will provide one free new book for every adult in the tutoring program throughout Saskatchewan to help them build their home library and continue their personal journey of literacy.
