Sydney is an associate lawyer in the McKercher LLP Saskatoon office, whose practice focuses on health law and professional regulation.  

Sydney received her Juris Doctor from Robson Hall at the University of Manitoba and also holds a Bachelor of Science in Genetics from Brigham Young University.  

Sydney draws on her diverse background in law and science to assist her in providing the best possible assistance to her clients. She has appeared at various levels of court, and before several regulatory bodies and tribunals.  

Sydney is a published peer-reviewed author with research contributions in Alzheimer’s disease and preeclampsia. She has also written for the Canadian Bar Association on legal ethics and actively provides regular updates to the Annotated King’s Bench Rules for the Law Society of Saskatchewan. 

Prior to joining McKercher LLP, Sydney worked as Admissions & Education Counsel at the Law Society of Saskatchewan overseeing bar admissions, conducting policy research, and contributing to the development and delivery of continuing professional development.  

Beyond her legal work, Sydney enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and enjoying the outdoors.
